The Race 10 Miles Mahon City will start from the amazing defensive fronts, munitions dumps and galleries of the incredible the Fortress Isabel II of La Mola, one of the largest European fortifications of the late nineteenth century of the Mahon Port. In 1850 were initiated the works for the construction of a fortification and despite opened in 1852 without being entirely finished, it was not until 1860 that Isabel II of Borbón visited it.
