The race 10/5 Milles City Mahón has collected a broad institutional support for its celebration. The race has had from the begging the support of the Local Government of Mahón, the Council of Menorca, the Balearic Government, the Port Authority of Balears, the Commander of the Naval Base and the Fortress of La Mola. The objective of this race is to consolidate in the Balear calendar of sporting events.
