The seventh edition is underway

The 10/5 Milles Ciutat de Maó returns once again to the sports calendar, which will be the seventh edition on Saturday 28 May. A race organized by Unisport Consulting with the sponsorship of the Fundació Foment del Turisme that passes through the maritime historical heritage of the port of Maó with departure from the Fortress of La Mola and arrival at the Maritime Station on the longest slope, and with exit at Cala Llonga for the short route.

One of the main novelties is that it has been decided to delay the departure of runners at 18.00 hours, one hour later than usual, to mitigate the high temperatures that participants had to experience. The collection of bibs will also change location and instead of taking place at the Maritime Station as usual, it will take place at the Decathlon shopping center, which becomes a sponsor and will flag the t-shirt that is given to each runner. What does not change is the trophy that the winner takes away, a batch of 10 and 5 kilos of cheese from the PDO Maó Menorca, respectively.
